I always, always, always appreciate it! I appreciate your offer to run the tournament but I think that I should decline for a couple of reasons. First of all, you are a very, very busy guy. I would not like to have this tournament take time away from your other projects...especially the JDPR project. Secondly, with the help of your automated tournament seeding program, I would like to "spread the work around" and have someone from the new "generation" of Dipsters "step up" to run this tournament and contribute to the enjoyment level of this group. I have decided to ask Rian Mitra to run the tournament. Rian is a younger* Dipster who is dedicated to the hobby and who has a great deal of experience as a GM Thanks again for your support! One of the tournaments that the members had chosen but which never made it to reality last year was a variant tournament in the Open Build format. Runners up to Open Build were 1898 (which ran the year before) and Modern. I will leave it to Rian to decide whether to take up again with Open Build (which had already been chosen by the members) or to run a new poll to select possibly another Variant for the tournament.
